How to Create a Course Bundle in ModernCommerce

Open the Bundle builder

From the Modern Commerce administration area, open Bundles, then select Create bundle or program. The builder supports both a Bundle, which sells related courses as one offer, and a Program, which represents a structured multi-course offering. This tutorial creates a Bundle.

Add the prepared cover image

Select Upload Image, choose the prepared 16:9 cover and wait for its preview. The image is used on Bundle cards and detail pages. Keep the image selected so it is saved with the example Bundle.

Enter the Bundle details

Enter Interactive Learning Tools Bundle as the required Bundle Name, then choose Bundle as the Type.

Set Status to Draft so the record can be reviewed before activation. Active allows normal availability when the remaining rules pass, Inactive keeps the record outside normal availability, and Archived retires it from normal use.

Choose Demo Bundles as the Category. Enter 20 for Display Order, leaving room to position other offers before or after it. Keep Max Enrollment at 0, which means unlimited.

Add the concise Short Description:

A practical collection of interactive learning-media courses.

Then add the longer Description:

This bundle groups Modern Flipbook, Modern Quiz Player, and Modern Video Player into one learning offer.

Configure presentation

Leave Visible on. Visibility permits the Bundle to appear when its status and other availability rules also pass; Draft status still keeps this example outside normal availability.

Leave Featured off because this is a standard catalogue record rather than a promoted offer.

Set the Bundle price

Enter 129 as the regular Price. Turn Put on sale on, then enter 99 as the Sale Price.

Start Date and End Date are optional sale boundaries. Leave both blank so the reduction has no scheduled lower or upper boundary. Confirm that Price Preview shows the regular price, sale price and calculated reduction.

Add and order the courses

In Select Courses, type at least two characters and wait for matching Moodle course names and short names. Search for and add these three courses:

• Modern Flipbook
• Modern Quiz Player
• Modern Video Player

Use the up and down arrows to control the saved course sequence. Move Modern Video Player above Modern Quiz Player.

The remove button takes a course out of the unsaved selection. Remove Modern Quiz Player, confirm that its row disappears, then search for it and add it again. The final Bundle must contain all three courses.

Save and verify

Select Save changes and wait for the saving state, success notification and refreshed Bundle table.

Verify that the saved row shows Interactive Learning Tools Bundle, Type Bundle, three courses, regular Price 129, Sale Price 99, zero enrollments and Status Draft.

Open Actions → Edit to verify that the image, name, type, status, category, visibility, featured setting, prices and all three included courses persisted. Advanced Bundle Features becomes available after the Bundle is saved; it is outside this introductory creation tutorial. Select Cancel without making changes.
